Hi! I hope your week is going well. I'm Prof. Arnold, and I'm taking over as the instructor for HIST 1302. I will be reaching out to everyone in the class this week to set up a time to talk, however first I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. 😀
About me: I love history and writing. I have a few history books published, and used to write for the Florida version of USA Today. I'm creative by nature, and even while growing up would gravitate to those kinds of friendships and classes in school. In other words, I'm excited to be at TRCOA and also to meet each one of you. We won't have many changes in the class content right now, as I assess things and get to know you as well.
You are free to call me Prof. Arnold, Prof. Wade, Wade, or really whatever works as long as it is respectful! I am online most of the time, and tend to be a night owl, so reach out if you have any questions. For most communication, which I suspect will be normal situations, you can use email. I try to answer within 24-48 hours at most.
If you have any questions now or in the future, do not feel stuck. Reach out and let's talk. One of my favorite mottos is "there are no emergencies in our class." If a bump in the road happens, rest assured we can work it out most of the time, okay? Keep up your efforts at TRCOA, you are in the right place with great mentors.
