Though I do believe digital is more convenient than analog, I think it depends on the type of song one is making. For something more EDM based I believe digital compliments this genre well. Though if you wanted a more intimate song I believe the warmth provided by analog is better suited for that kind of sound. I will also agree that analog is better in the sense that it limits our options, which allows us to be more decisive in our recording/mixing.
