Just because someone utilizes AutoTune or mimics a certain style does that take value away from the music? Some may call it innovation, however, the speed of technology is growing faster than we can imagine and the music seems to become more technical, if you will.

Does a pedal take value away from the guitar? Not in my opinion. To me autotune is an instrument itself and an effect that can be tweaked. You do not need an amazing voice to sound amazing anymore and I guess that messes with a lot of people. But in order to make serious strides in music while using autotune I imagine you find yourself again, tweaking the effects and working on the sound the same as you would your own voice. I am open to counterthoughts

I couldn't agree more. At the end of the day a songs job is to give the listener something that sounds good. However that is accomplished is fair game.
