So as someone who has a bit of a small budget to work off of, I go into recording my drums with two overheads, and then sample the drums individually to create individual tracks for each drum. I was curious what methods people might do with this approach to achieve the sound they are looking for, and any particular details that they make sure to never miss doing with this.
